Christ has handed us the mysteries of His kingdom. And we’re to know His mysteries. They’re given to us. That’s the joy of being children of Light and Day (I Thess.5:5). We’re not left in the dark, especially concerning endtime events.

With all this time on our hands because of the virus situation, rather than just sit around, I thought I’d take the time to do some reflecting on the deeper things in life. I’ve come to this conclusion—I want to think like Jesus and act like Jesus.

This is a famous scripture in Brighamite Mormonism within the Latter Day Saint movement. I was always taught growing up that this referred to the of God the Father once being a human man. Jesus some how saw the Father live His mortal life, and was doing the same. This never fully made sense to me, as I was also taught that Jesus was created as a spirit baby after the Father’s mortality, and for a number of other reasons. Speaking to a friend this week I was enlightened to a new way of understanding this scripture and in turn all scriptures.
At this time, a great plague is moving across the land and the governments of every nation, kindred, tongue and people are in turmoil and confusion. At this time, we must remember what we have learned from the Gospel.
