The third woman in the Women of the Book of Mormon series is Abish, one of my favorite people in the Book of Mormon. Abish is the faithful woman that lived alone, spiritually, with non-believers. One thing I really dislike about Mormon McConkieism (the ideology that treats Bruce R. McConkie’s book “Mormon Doctrine” as if it were real doctrine, rather than what it really is – his opinion) is the idea that other Christian Churches are the “Church of the devil” and that only we, LDS Mormon Christians, are the true Christian Church. I stumbled on a video on YouTube video recently that stated it had questions “every Mormon” should answer. I wanted to know what these questions were, as I love questions. The video interviewed a handful of ex-Mormons that are now Protestants. Each of the people in the video started out stating how active they had been in the Church and they listed their callings.
